A Journey Through Our History, Mission, and Vision
Established in 2014, Elijah’s Widows and Orphans Mission Int’l (EWOMI) is a registered non-governmental organization dedicated to transforming lives by empowering society’s most vulnerable widows, orphans, youth, and marginalized women. We achieve this through education, skill development, healthcare, advocacy, and community outreach.
Over the past decade, EWOMI has become a recognized force for change across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, delivering life-changing interventions that have directly impacted over 5 million lives and touched hundreds of thousands more indirectly.
What Sets EWOMI Apart in the International Development Space
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated, verifiable impact in Makurdi, Suleja, Ankpa, and through nationwide campaigns.
Nationwide Footprint: Active presence in every Local Government Area (LGA) and ward across Nigeria.
Established Infrastructure: Local leadership structures in every LGA, with robust data systems to track and measure impact.
Global Alignment: Driving initiatives in women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, and peacebuilding fully aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At EWOMI, we are not just responding to challenges — we are building a future where every widow, orphan, youth, and woman can thrive.
